Weddings and dreams

Weddings..

Dreamy, fairytale-y, blissful, sweet.

A memorable occasion to be treasured.

***

Last 2 days, I saw a wedding couple having a photoshoot at Temasek Poly's Plaza. Was kinda surprised though seeing the couple. Why, of all places, TEMASEK POLY?! There isn't any scenery at all la. They could have gone to Bedok Reservoir or some place else, with a decent scenery.

Obviously, Temasek Poly held some significance for the couple. Me, Fizah and Fathin, who were at TP's mushroom, guessed that they first met at Temasek Poly. Like aaaawwww..

May the couple have a blissful marriage. :)

I love like "secret love". Could it be? For some reason, I'm just scared to get into this again.

80 words in a minute

I was bloghopping and came across a friend's blog.

She tried out this touch-typing game and it's kinda interesting.

I tried it out, and my classmates were kinda surprised seeing the speed I type. I mean I didn't know I would type THAT fast. Haha.

80 wordsTouch Typing online

80 words in a minute maann.. BEAT THAT! LOL!

Haha. It's soo cool. Hearing the keyboard so noisy. :) :)

****************

Annyywaayy.. I've always wondered..

Most of you people would know what shuffling is right? It's like a type of dance that somehow suits the beats of techno, rave and all that kinda stuff.
Personally, I'm no clubber or someone into dance and all that, so I have to see for myself what this shuffling is about. Ye, aku kental -_-

Thanks to YouTube, I already know what shuffling is!!! :)

Though, I still don't get the hands though. But I love the pants. Haha.

Kandang Kerbau Hospital

I had an appointment at Kandang Kerbau Hospital (KKH) today. No. I'm not pregnant. -__________- Though, they were alot of pregnant moms-to-be at the clinic just now. I couldn't tell between a pregnant woman to a plain fat woman. Haha. Maybe they could tell between me and a pregnant woman. LOL. if you get what I mean.

Thanks to mum and dad for sending me for my appointment. Mum was there throughout the whole appointment. Thanks mum! Dad was trying to get a shut eye at every chance he gets. Haha. Poor dad.

I don't know about you but I just feel that government services, especially the healthcare sector, they just provide the most slowest and draggiest service ever. I don't see the point of having an appointment time when it delays like more than half an hour. I get it that it's a government service and all that but, at least give some decent service. For a start, deliver it on time.

I'm not trying to be such a nag but, it's just so disturbing to see healthcare workers, taking their own sweet time, to enter particulars into the computer, to call out a queue number, to give the prescription to the patient. Obviously, hundreds of people are waiting to see the doctor, but the waiting time just kills.

Well, screw with that. My appointment was at 2.50pm, I reached at 2.30pm and I ended up leaving the hospital at 4.45pm.

Anyways, I had an injection during my appointment just now. I miss having injections. I mean, I like seeing that blood, flowing through the needle and into the plastic tube. Well, the nurse didn't give me signal before she injected me, so I had abit of a "jerk" with that. Haha. I got all excited about the injection, for some reason. I love injections! :x

After which, I took off the plaster, and it turned out like this... please don't mind my bedsheet.

And here's my prescription. I'm only suppose to eat this for like only 10 days. It's like a pill for the hormones or something like that. I have no idea what that is suppose to mean, but yeah. I haven't had any of the medication. And please don't bother asking why I had an appointment at KKH. It's kinda personal. Haha. Unless you're dying to know. :x

Oh, and the bill was like so expensive sey. The nurse at the registration counter said that the appointment would cost around $24 and any subsequent visits are $22. At the end of the day though, the bill went up to $100+ because of the blood test. -__-

Singapore and high costs. Kill me.

Now, I'm off to admire my injection wound. heeeeeee....~

Heath Ledger, "The Joker"

For some reason, I'm having a weird feeling strain on my left thigh. I don't know how to explain it but it feels like hmm.. straining. Haha. Well, that aside.

Oh wells.. there isn't anything much to blog nowadays. Practically because my life is such a bore. It's the same old routine everyday, school, laptop, handphone, PSP, sleep, TV. Someone, entertain me!

Anyway, I'm sure most of you would know Heath Ledger. No?

Brokeback Mountain?
The Patriot?
A Knight's Tale?
Or the recent one shown on Ch 5...
The Brothers Grimm?

This guy.............. ????

Well, apparently, he was found dead yesterday in his New York Apartment, apparently with pills near his body.

Sources say,

NEW YORK - Heath Ledger, the talented 28-year-old actor who gravitated toward dark, brooding roles that defied his leading-man looks, was found dead Tuesday in a Manhattan apartment, face-down and naked at the foot of his bed with prescription sleeping pills nearby, police said.

There was no obvious indication that the Australian-born Ledger had committed suicide, NYPD spokesman Paul Browne said.

Ledger’s publicist, Mara Buxbaum, issued a statement this Tuesday night, saying, “We are all deeply saddened and shocked by this accident. This is an extremely difficult time for his loved ones and we are asking the media to please respect the family’s privacy.”[Source]

Well, he's acting as the Joker in the upcoming sequel of Batman Begins, "Batman, The Dark Knight". It's a waste to see a young talented man die. The news definitely came as a shock. Condolences to the man.

Well, AI premiered a few hours ago on Channel 5. A 2-hr special. I must say, those who auditioned for AI 8, well, the talents are growing. More people are getting in. On another note, AI is well known for the Worst Auditions caught on tape. Weird people. I don't know what are in the minds of those people, making a fool out of themselves on national TV, and can't even tell between MC Hammer and Michael Jackson for all I know.

On a brighter note, another video from YouTube. I bet this has to be the most awesome-est beatboxer ever. He's French btw so don't mind the French dialogue in the video.

Another video about the beatboxer. Impressive. Real impressive.

Cool ey?

He's like a one man jukebox. The last one was definitely the most impressive one. Awesome.

Virginity Broken

My virginity is broken!! WOOHOOO!!

I've watched my first ever M18 movie and my IC was being checked. COOL GILERR!! Jakun-ism in action. Haha, yah big deal. LOL!

Caught "American Gangster" with Fizah dearest last Friday. Great story. Gives an insight to the past history of New York. Drugs, prostitution, corruption, the shits.

Nobody used to notice Frank Lucas (Oscar winner Washington), the quiet driver to one of the inner city's leading black crime bosses. But when his boss suddenly dies, Frank exploits the opening in the power structure to build his own empire and create his own version of the American Dream. Through ingenuity and a strict business ethic, he comes to rule the inner-city drug trade, flooding the streets with a purer product at a better price. Lucas outplays all of the leading crime syndicates and becomes not only one of the city's mainline corrupters, but part of its circle of legit civic superstars.

Frank Lucas is REAL and it's based on a true story. Great acting by Denzel Washington. He is such a man!Awww...

I just find that the movie has too much talk, and not very much action, as in police chasing or rampage. But for those of you that are into life stories, this is the movie. It's cool to see how the society was like in the past. It's like way way different from now, thank god. Some might find it boring and its so anti-climax. Oh well, it is a bibliographic story anyway. All in all, enjoyed the film. Real great cinematography. A great insight into the 1970s of New York.

A silent worker, yet is more succesful than the biggest bosses. Cool shit.

Human Tetris

All of you should know the classic brick game of Tetris. Ever came across Human Tetris?

Japan is famous for coming up with the weirdest of ideas but very humourous. I was doing the normal YouTube-ing when I came across a Japanese Game Show of Human Tetris.

Trust me. It all got me teared up and having stomach cramps just laughing.

HAAHAHAAAAHAHA!! The contestants on the show just had to crack me up. They have the funniest ideas to go through the walls that they end up forgetting the simplest solution. LOL!

There are many videos on this game show, with different shapes and all sorts of funny ideas. Check them out at YouTube and search for 'Human Tetris'.

America's (definitely) Got Talent

I was watching America's Got Talent on Sunday night, the first part of the finale. I must say, they have a great range of talents. One definitely made me got hooked was At Last.

Well, some might find it cheesy and so "boyband"-ish. Then again, it's a great acapella version of that classic song "Killing me softly" by The Fugees. Very clever of them to have instilled that Asian touch, the Chinese drums. Real cool. I just love acapellas, break beats and acoustics. It shows off the voice more. SO COOL LA SEEYY!!!!

Another talent which somehow outshined for that show was All That.

SUPER COOL OR WHAT SIAAAAHHH!!!!!!!

Dah la handsome. So talented sey. I mean how many people can tap dance to a marching band and a solo drum set. What more when all of it came together, the more the guys pulled it off. Wonderful stuff.

Now, where can Singapore find such talents? The MDA?

Check this "dope" shit out.

Kudos goes to effort and graphics of the MDA staff but the whole lot of rapping, it's pure DOPE! WHY DO THEY EVEN BOTHER TRYING!!!? OMG!! I think the Rappin' Granny is way better than all of those MDA staff put together. GOSH! You're already killing the creativity in Singapore with all that censorship shits and what nots.

Oh well, the graphics in the vid do deserve some credits. But the rapping, has just got to go.

*presses buzzer multiple times*

Cuppycake

Have any of you EVER wondered who owns that cute lil' voice behind all that "Snoogums-boogums"?

Presenting the original singer of the Cuppycake Song
Amy Castle
Age 3

Take a look at this.

Lyrics
Cuppy Cake Song
You're my Honeybunch, Sugarplum
Pumpy-umpy-umpkin, You're my Sweetie Pie
You're my Cuppycake, Gumdrop
Snoogums-Boogums, You're the Apple of my Eye
And I love you so and I want you to know
That I'll always be right here
And I love to sing sweet songs to you
Because you are so dear

I guessed Amy Castle would be laughing, reminiscing all the memories when she was 3.
