The Wishlist

Looking at the countdown to your right, you would have probably abt 6 more days from the point I posted this entry, to get me a birthday present. Yes, the "tak tau malu" side of me is kicking in.

So this would be my precious wishlist... lo and behold...

Samsung F480 in Pink

iPod Touch (just the 8gb one will do :p)

Crumpler 4-million dollar home camera bag (in any bright colour :p)

This exact Baby-G watch and make sure it's black. (I saw this at Tampines Mall, level 2 just outside Starhub :p)

A Juicy Couture Charm Bracelet.

A wallet. Preferably this size. No brand specifically. :)

A Tiffany & Co. Mesh Ring

A pair of Adidas Slippers in Size 7. To be safe, buy me a size 8 :p

There's alot more I can put up here but I rather not. I wouldn't want people to suffer from heart attacks and decide to not read my blog anymore. LOL.

So, you've got 6 more days.

MERRY CHRISTMAS! :)

Movie Reviews

Based on a memoir by British author Danny Wallace the studio picked up in April 2005, the story centers on a man who decides to change his life by saying yes to absolutely everything that comes his way. Saying "yes" leads him on a series of unexpected comedic adventures that turn his whole life upside-down.

Jim Carrey stars as Carl Allen, a man who signs up for a self-help program based on one simple principle: say yes to everything...and anything. At first, unleashing the power of "yes" transforms Carl's life in amazing and unexpected ways, but he soon discovers that opening up his life to endless possibilities can have its drawbacks.

This movie is HILARIOUS!
A must watch.

5/5 :)

Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) has always been a bit different, never caring about or fitting in with the trendy girls at her Phoenix, Arizona high school. When her mother Renee (Sarah Clarke) remarries and decides to move with her new husband to Florida, and Bella decides to go live with her father, Charlie (Billy Burke), in the rainy little town of Forks, Washington, she doesn't expect anything to change.

Then she meets the mysterious and dazzlingly beautiful Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), a boy unlike any she's ever met. Intelligent and witty, his piercing eyes see straight into her soul. Soon, Bella and Edward are swept up in a passionate and decidedly unorthodox romance. Edward can run faster than any cheetah, he can stop a moving car with his bare hands, and he hasn't aged since 1918. Most importantly, he's a vampire. Like all vampires, he's immortal. He doesn't drink human blood (they're vampire "vegetarians"), which is rare among the vampire population. Instead, they go on regular "hiking" trips, where they feed on prey such as grizzly bears and mountain lions.

For Edward, Bella is the thing he has waited ninety years for - a soul mate. But the closer they get, the more Edward must struggle to resist the primal pull of her scent, which could send him into an uncontrollable frenzy. And what will they do when James (Cam Gigandet), Laurent (Edi Gathegi), and Victoria (Rachel Lefevre) come into town and James sets his sights on Bella? Will true love prevail when Edward is forced to save her life and conquer his thirst? The true question is, When you can live forever, what do you live for?

Ok, so I heard, this was a talked about movie. I had no idea why it was so popular, which eventually I found out it was from this famous novel of some sort.

To me, it was okay. The action is tool ittle. There were bits and pieces of the classic Dracula story, but it didn't make me jump on my sit.

Nonetheless, EDWARD CULLEN IS FUCKING HOT! *fans self*
To you, don't be jealous ok. Of course I would choose him over you anytime. :p

3/5 :)

AFF Suzuki Cup 2008, Singapore VS Vietnam

Well, Singapore lost.

I'm very sure all of us already knew about it.

I was there..

Watching LIVE...

For the very first time. Heh.

The company was great. With all the cousins and friends...

GF CAME! and "her someone"! :p
And someone else also came...... :p Thanks! Loved that you were there. :)

Anyway, back to the game...

The game was not bad. Not as bad as the 1st leg. All the Singaporean fans were at the edge of their seats, literally. Well, I was, if not all. There were too many chances and the SG Lions blew all of it. Despite that, their performance for the 2nd leg had to get some compliments.

Vietnam played a sour game. Fucking drama mamaks. The game barely even got to 1/2 hr and they're already lying down on the pitch, rolling around like some pathetic creature. Seriously. Kudos to the referee for giving out multiple cards to the players. HAH! Fags.

Though, my take for limelight for the SG Lions would go to Shahril Ishak and Md Ridhuan. They played a real good game. They played their positions well for the team.

I wasn't clad in red. I didn't see the significance for having to wear red for the game. I mean, it's not like it's national day or anything. Haha. Someone very semangat hor wear red. :p

Anyway, it was kinda dissapointing seeing the Lions lost. After clinching champions for 2 years and for a straight win throughout the group matches, this was kinda a dramatic lost. Even for fellow fans.

No matter the distance, we're still under the same sky

No matter the distance,
No matter the differences,
We're still under the same sky
We still see the same light

And when you're not here
And when I'm not there
Our love intertwines
Our love never fades away

A classic childhood love story. (Now everyone go aaawww..) :)

Ok best. :)

A good day

Today is a good day.

Eventhough me and Aini got to work 15 mins late this morning, we had seats from Tampines MRT station, which BARELY happens during the morning rush hour. So I thought.. "Something good is gonna happen today."

And something good DID happen today.

No. I didn't get to meet some drop dead gorgeous guy at lunchtime.

Me and Aini got seats from Raffles Place MRT to Tampines MRT. Isn't it great?

No really. Isn't it REALLY great?!

Haha.

Oh wells.

2008 is coming to an end but I wish to stay 18 til forever and beyond. Can? Please?

On another note,

Someone get me this for my birthday. Pretty please! I'll promise I love you til eternity. :)

Marina Barrage

SELAMAT PENGANTIN BARU! :)

***

Has anyone been to the (correct me if I'm wrong) latest icon in Singapore?

Marina Barrage.

Sounds alien? Yeah, it sounded alien to me a few days ago. Not until just now.

Marina Barrage is like a dam of some sort, where they store processed water. I think a quarter of it is still under construction but the place is kinda gorgeous. Great place to chill, enjoy the breeze and relax the mind.

So not gonna say much. Feast your eyes to some pictures
(Don't mind the outfit I'm in. Was from a wedding with the family and decided to drop by Marina Barrage to have a look. Hah.)

Anyway, about my waxing experience the other day?
Great!
Really.

Other than the fact that my skin is rather sensitive and 'til now it itches the hell out of me, I loved the treatment. What more, Strip's waxing parlour rocks the shit. I love the parlour! It didn't hurt, just that each time the therapist pulled out the strip, I startled abit. But it didn't hurt. It was alright.

Must.
Not.
Scratch.

I'm still getting used to the hairless feeling of my arms. Haha. It feels funny.
Next up, brazilian?

Signing off,

Losing my virginity... STRIP!

It's either I've gone totally bonkers and out of my mind or just trying to take up a challenge and test my pain threshold.

Yes sir. You read it right.

I'm losing my virginity...
this Friday (wah, got timing some more)

to.....

STRIP! (Check out the webbie. It's kinda funky!)

:)

Gotcha didn't I? heh.

I'm feeling excited, yet.... scared? People said it's kinda painful, what more I'm a virgin waxee. Hurhur. I'm not gonna wax my whole body, if that's what you were thinking. If that was the case, it would be suicidal. LOL. It would only be my arms. :)

Any tips from non-virgin waxees? I don't want to end up going home like a sore polar bear with my arms hanging out like some chimpanzee. Heeeee...
