Still trying to get use to it

I guess my blogging activity has toned down by alot. I'm barely blogging nowadays. Maybe because I'm still trying to get used to the idea of working 8.5 hrs, 5 days a week. I've realised that being a working adult isn't easy. At all.

I've come to understand what my parents mean when they say "been working hard" and being tired and all. I hardly have time for myself, now that I've been working and it's only been the 2nd week! I guess I'm drained out because of the travelling to and fro. What more with the morning rush hour and the ugly crowds in the evening.

Though, it's kinda fun, I should say, being in this working environment. Well, for the past 18 years of my growing up, this is the first time ever I actually worked. Yes. First time EVER. I've been settling my sorry ass down at home for the entire 18 years without earning a single cent. lol

Yes. I can be a brat. Or maybe I am.

Work

I did alot of scribbling at work for the past 2 days. Hurhur.

It's only the 3rd day of work and I'm sick. REALLY SICK.

I'm refraining myself from getting an MC though. It's hardly been a week so I'll just tahan as much as I can la hor. Work has been quite mundane maybe it's because it's only the first few days and there's either nothing or nothing much to do but I ain't complaining. Today I was given a few tasks but with a bad flu and fever, not very fun. Not fun at all.

I got sick yesterday, but it got worst today despite drinking the panadol cold hot remedy last night. So today I bought the Panadol FluMAX at Watsons during lunch just now. I've yet to see the effects though. I've ate it for 3 times today coz I can't stand the flu and fever.

Mr FLU and Mrs Fever, PLEASE GO AWAY!

A new look

Ahh yes. A change in layout. Another clean one.. simple, white. I don't like to banyak songeh with my skins or I'll get irritated. Hurhur.

I'm still on holidays (it's been 2 months :p) but this would be my last week of holidays and I'm still doing...

Next week would be the start of my SIP over at OCBC. Nervous? Excited? Yeah, a lil bit of both. Though I'm not really looking forward to the office look 8 hrs per day, 5 days per week but it doesn't leave me with much choice does it? You can't always have it your way. Hurhur.

I've always had the most ideas on what to blog....
when I'm actually NOT blogging. Typical, yes?

Right when I'm sitting infront of the computer, surfing facebook, bloghopping, msn-ing and whatever possible stuff I could do online, my fingers don't feel any sparks coming from this brain of mine to give me the ideas to blog. It's bloody annoying wa cakap sama lu.

Ok so it's still Syawal and despite a recent lost in the family, we still had to celebrate raya as per normal. Life has to go on.. doesn't it?

Raya visits has been fine. Home has been receiving many relatives and of course, duit collection I got many2. Hurhur...

Goodbye..

Goodbye is always the hardest word to say and the toughest to experience.
However, all of us have to bid farewell at times throughout our lifetime.

To all fellow friends out there,
Cherish your loved ones. I mean it. From parents and siblings, to grandparents and uncles/aunts, to cousins and friends, to nieces and nephews....

You'll never know when he/she is gonna bid his/her final goodbye.
Disagreements and quarrels are part and parcel of life itself. We just have to be a lil more patient in dealing with the situation.
However, we always have to overlook the anger, hatred and revenge in ourselves and appreciate his/her existence in your life and begin questioning the reason for it.

And as much as we try to achieve several things at a time and having a dire need to always give our best... there is ALWAYS a limit.
When you can't, means you can't.
Never push yourself to the extent where even your own heart, body, mind and soul can't handle the pressure.

As for my final say...

My deepest heartfelt condolonces goes to the family.

Hari Raya Update

Hari Raya has been going all mighty fine for me. I mean, what more could I ask for. With the "green packets" coming my way... EUPHORIA!!

I'M RICH! almost. hurhur


Well one thing I pretty much look forward to during Hari Raya is the assortment of kuihs that are laid out on the table in the living room. I mean, that's what makes Hari Raya... HARI RAYA! The KUIHs!! And of course, what is kuih eating with no F&N drinks. The colourful array of them drinks. However, I believe I've had one too many kuihs for now and it's only the... hmmm.. 3rd day of raya?

I've been self-serving myself to the kuihs at home. My mum screams whenever that happens. Next thing you know, the guests that comes over to my place are all left with just empty kuih Raya bowls filled with crumbs. Hurhur

Other than the kuihs, another best thing about Hari Raya is you get to meet RELATIVES! The ones you haven't meet before, you get to meet on Raya. Isn't that great? Nothing beats having to strengthen ties between relatives, be it close or long distance. Right?



And of course, the cute kids having fun playing with each other. One who thought that kids are the must horrible inventions of the planet, would even bear the noise the kids make on such a festive month.

So how's your Hari Raya been?
