I'm baaacckkk...!! Trengganu was AWESOME!

I'm home!!!!!

My trip to Trengganu/Redang? Definitely awesome! No regrets at all. Though there are some cock-ups and stuff but I guess that's bound to happen, but still it could be avoided. Oh wells..

This picture was taken from the boat that I was in when we were making our way to Redang Island.

This was at the Marine Park and there sure was a crowd there. The sea doesn't look real clear in the picture, but trust me, it is. The water at Redang Island is clearer than this. It's SUPER BLUE!

Everyone was super JAKUN la! Semua tak sabar nak masok air. Ahahaha!! Funny siaa..

So let me just start with my whole trip... bear with me. It's gonna be a long entry.

1st day: The bus picked all of us at Tampines St 23, at the carpark right infront of my blk. There were all 28 of us, young and old. There was a slight delay as the bus got stranded I don't know where. We were scheduled to leave at 9.30pm. But we left at 10pm. In the bus, SMS-ed the certain2 people, ehem ehem, paham paham je laaa!!! Ok whateverrrr....

Made our way to Tuas immigration. After clearing through Malaysia's Immigration, we changed bus to a 30 seater bus. We had to seat according to the seating plan mama made *Sumpah akoo tak tawu aper motive ah pakai seating plan.. -.-* . Dah settle down, then it's HELLO MALAYSIA!

The tour guide who is with us wasn't really great. All of us ended up laughing at how he speaks. We were intro-ed to the pilot and co-pilot and also the tour guide himself. Then, it was night-night for us as we spent the night in the bus. Oh and the tour guide will always end his commentary with a "byebye". So dah jadi modal antara kiter semua...

2nd day: Reached the rural side of Trengganu and had our early breakfast at 7am. Sumpah I couldn't sleep in the bus. The lights along the expressway kept me awake. I wrapped myself in my shawl, mama's jacket alongside with my bantal busyuk pon tak boleh tidor!!! The bus was freaking cold siaaa. Ok so anyways, had a breakfast of roti prata. And I learnt that in Malaysia, they do not say Roti Prata but instead they say it as Roti Canai. Kewl eh? Whereas here, roti canai is a different food altogether.

So had Prata for breakfast. After breakfast, we made our way to Sekayu water fall. All of us obviously needed a fresh shower and having it at a fresh water fall early in the day was definitely just nice. Dah tak sabar nak mandi kan, most of us changed to get into the water. A lil touch of the water was really freezing. IT WAS SUPER COLD LA OK! Waaahh laauu.. I could have suffered from hyperthermia or something. Fortunately no since I got used to the temperature of the water already.

Enjoyed in the water for like half an hour or so. Changed into some dry clothes and ate lunch. We had this multi-purpose hall all to ourselves. It's so the kampung sey. Macam kewl siaa!!!

After waterfalls, it's time to check in into our hotel, Sutra Beach Resort. Real nice surrounding. It's next to the beach and the beach is sooo the super kewl ok. No rocks on the sea bed at all. It was pure sand!!!! Another jakun-ism in action. My cousins were all like "Eehhh, best nyer!!!!" that kinda thing.

After like a couple of hours berendam pat dalam laut and also the swimming pool, it's time to get ready for the BBQ dinner at the poolside. All of us were in BLUE. YAY! Then played this game where we had to dress up our team leader. Ader 2 team, Nyamuk dan Lalat. My team was Nyamuk and we head to dress up Cik Ajib with whatever materials that we can find in the area. We had leaves, chair sheets, necklaces, headbands, sticks, coconuts and table decorations. Haha!!! SUPER DE FUNNY OK!!!! Cik Ajib was the star of the night. Dah mcm "Lord of The Nyamuks yang sudah tak waras".

After dinner, we were entertained by a Senario star, Lan Pet Pet. He is such a good entertainer. The night was filled with laughter, singing and clapping. Real nice..

3rd day: An early morning to get ready for breakfast and trip to REDANG! Went down for breakfast at the Hotel's restaurant. The whole group was in YELLOW and WHITE. Mind you that we have 60 people altogether. There were 2 buses. The 1st group left a day earlier and so we met at Trengganu.

So the hotel lobby was in a pool of yellows and whites, all geared up for a whole day in Redang, to spend time with the fishies and a breath of the sea breeze. Rima tak lari beb. So after breakfast, made our way to the buses, and of we went to Redang.

Waited for the boat at the jetty to take us to Redang. Had a bit of a miscommunication and frustrations were here and there. Anyways, an hour boat ride just to go to Redang. Dah macam nak pegi Batam from Harbourfront siak. Pegi Batam pon lagi cepat tau. So dah sampai the Marine park, we changed into our wet gear, grabbed our snorkelling equipment and lifejackets and headed for the waters.

All were busy looking for fishes and once we spotted them, biaselah tu.. kalao dah jakun, sentiase jakun. We fed the fishes with bread which we bought and the fishes were definitely to have a hearty meal from the friendly humans. Oh and ader satu ikan kecik maner ntah dah gigit akoo pia kaki. Geli tau i...

So dah swimming2, and some funny incident happen which is better not to be disclosed here, hanya Tuhan saja yang tauu... we made our way to the boat and went to Redang island where the resort is. We had our lunch there and changed into dry attire. The water was even clearer there ok. It was super blue and the sand was like.... WOW! Kalao akoo bole buat katil, akoo buat katil dengan menggunakan pasir tu tau.

Soon, it was time to go back to the main land. Went back in the bus and headed back to the resort to freshen up and did some shopping after that at Mydin Hypermart. The hypermart ni dier macam Giant Tampines and Mustafa Centre gitu. Dah dinner and shopping... went back to hotel to catch some zzzZzzzZZZzz's.

Last day: Woke up early to have breakfast and check-out. The colour for the day was RED. All of us wanted to get out of Trengganu as early as possible so that we would reach Singapore early as well.

After checking-out, went to a place called Pasar Payang which is like a replica of Pasar Geylang. Really OK! Ader jual kain2, ader pasar jual sayur dan ikan2, dan ader jugak jual minyak tak tau aper entah yang ader seahorse dgn eel. Ahahaha! Ader jugak jual telur penyu, jual keropok dan jugak jual baju butterfly.

Had 45 minutes spent there since there was nothing much at that area. After Pasar Payang, we went to Nor Arfa Batik Boutique. It was like a traditional batik boutique. There was a demonstration on how batik is made and all that. I bought a batik top there which was quite nice for only 35 RM. Quite cheap uh because they were having a sale there.

After the Batik shop, it's time to make our way back to Singapore. On the way, we made several stops to buy some last minute dry stuff and also to go the loo. Had our lunch at one of the stops and then it was straight to Singapore. At 8+, we had our dinner at Yong Ping stop. That was the last stop for the day.

Then it was home sweet home. Reached Singapore at 2300hrs++ and then it was home....

Definitely a wonderful trip, with the company of great relatives and family members. What more could anyone ask for.

More pichurs here.

To Papa,

Thank you for being the greatest dad a daughter could ask for. You have never complained about how sick you were, how tired you feel. You have always been the source of happiness in the family. You're the funny one and your sense of humour has always been keeping the family together. You've always been yourself. You know the responsibility of being a head of the family and you carry out the responsibility well. Thank you for being there for me. Thank you for being MY father....

Happy Father's Day
Your's truly,
Daughter
