a penny for a thought

My lecturer showed the class a powerpoint presentation which definitely puts alot of thought and meaning to what we have lost and the odds of getting it back are impossible...

A woman was queining in line to check in her baggage at the airport. After checking in her baggage, she had some time to spare before it was time to board her plane. So she got herself a packet of cookies then went to sat down on a sofa in a lounge and started to read her book peacefully.

Then came a man and soon sat down on the sofa beside the packet of cookies. She then went to grab a cookie but at the same time, the man had also grabbed a cookie for himself. She begin to feel frustrated. Everytime she picked out a cookie, the man did the same. Her anger was building up in herself just looking at the man's action.

Until the time when it came down to the last cookie, the lady decided to wait and see what the man will do. The man reached out for the cookie, but this time, he broke the cookie in half and gave the other half to the lady. Fumed and frustrated, the lady took the cookie, closed her book and decided to go off from the lounge. So the man and herself went on seperate ways.

The lady then went to board her flight and took her seat. Once settled, she open up her purse and to her suprise, she found that her packet of cookies was in her purse. All along, she was angry with someone who was sharing his packet of cookies with her, and has mistaken that the packet of cookies belong to her.

She definitely felt guilty but there was no way that an apology could be given to the man.

There are 4 things that can never be recovered....

  • The stone when it's thrown
  • The words when it's said
  • The occasion when it's loss
  • The time when it's over

So that left me thinking... What have I done in the past that I wish didn't happened?

Of course there were some events that really put me in deep shiet. Oh well, I was young, innocent and naive.

And I didn't know someone could be as hot as him..... Jesse Mccartney.... *beams*
