catching up

So it has been like almost a week since I went to school and I really have to do alot of catching up with all the modules. Especially in QUAN. Eventhough we are learning graphs, I am totally lost ok. Like seriously. It's now hard to tell the difference what is class interval, relative frequency and cumulative frequency.

I totally forgot basic E Maths stuff such as those. Really la. Irritating seyy.

Well, kinda surprise when my classmates asked about how I am feeling and all. Didn't expect that. Thanks C156. You know I love ya to bits. Hehe.

School just now was hot la. Met my usual laughing-non-stopping-even-until-the-cows-come-home friends.

They are a bunch of mad freaks la. Seriously.

After school, me, Wani, Dan and Ayu went to Tampines Central to help Dan get a birthday gift for his friend. We decided to get Dan's friend a cute bracelet. It is really nice ok. Really. Thanks to, your truly. *evil laughs.*

So after that, me and Wani decided to get a pair of shoes from Century Square.

Wani tried shoes and I had second thoughts of buying actually because I aint sure if I wana buy it with my Raya money. Haha.

So Wani kept on trying open-toe heeled shoes and same thing about all the shoes that she tried, all of them were white. Haha. In the end, she decided not to buy any. Haha. Freak.

So after Century Square, four of us headed to Starbucks to get my dose of Java Chip Frappucino that I simply can't get enough of. I was afraid to buy at first because the doctor said that I have to stay away from dairy products because it might affect my stomach due to the gastric flu, but I didn't bother because I was feeling much much better now.

So we talked, crapped, cam-whored and laughed our way thru at Starbucks. kewlSHIET.

Tadaaa...! That was basically it. Did I say I love my friends oh-so-much? I didn't? Well know you know.

open house

Finally, the open house has come to an end. I really do not know how many relatives came. There is just too many. Grandaunts, granduncles, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews. That's a whole lot.

It started off with the biggest family of my nenek's nieces and nephews. It got off panicky and hectic but mama, being the wonderwoman that she is, everything came under control. So one came, one went off. Another came, another went off.

This year's open house, I have to say, is kinda good. It didn't become like past years where too many people came at any one time, making the house cramp and full until no space, and literally no space, in the house for anymore guests to come in. Shoes were like covering the whole front entrance of my door. Haha.

So, mama cooked white rice, beef ribs soup *in Malay, its called sup lembu rusuk. or sumting like dat.* , chap chai *or is it chye?* and fried chicken.

So basically it's a whole meal for guests.

Anyways, mama and nenek are now feeling shacked and tired, drained off their very last bit of energy in them. Haha. See, never have too many relatives on your side, or better, never have an elderly staying in the same house as you because when raya comes, this is what happens, too many guests and too little energy.

neck ache

My gastric flu has been ok. Now recovering, but sometimes I feel like throwing up. Bleh.

Need to finish up my medication.

And I heard alot and I mean ALOT of my other relatives getting this kinda shyd like diarrhoea, headaches, vomitting. Seriously, it's super contagious. So watch out people of your health.

Back to my story....

Another complication arised. I woke up on the wrong side of the bed and now I can't turn my head to the left. That's me for not kebas-ing my bed before going to sleep. My neck hurts the hell out of me and all I can do is wait patiently for it to heal on it's own. Boring!

So yesterday did some Raya visiting on the Paternal relatives. Got about 6 houses. Not bad, really, when you bring about an elderly to go Raya visiting. I mean you got to understand that when you bring an elderly around for Raya visits, they tend to chit-chat for quite a long time and the kids will start playing with their "once-a-year-meeting" cousins. That kinda stuff.

So ya, got 6 houses. Thanx to Erwin and Kak Diana, they laughed at me for having this neck ache. Haha. I have to turn my whole body just to look to my left. It sucks really and for like almost the whole day, everything is happening on th left side of me. *thanx eh!* Now I know what it feels like to have woken up on the wrong side of the bed, literally.

I actually can't wait to get back to school. Been missing my lectures, tutorials and lab sessions for the Thursday and Friday. It sucks and I'm sure I'll be behind everyone on the assignments.

Today I would be having an open house because I'm sure Nenek's siblings, in-laws, nieces and nephews would wana visit Nenek. I mean, she hasn't been feeling really well. Constant headaches and soreness felt in her body. Guess it's usual for someone her age.

Me? I am just waiting for the hectic-ness that would be happening around the house. Wash the dishes, help out the serving and all that stuff. Whatever it is, I'm just gona wait for the things that will come into my hands. If you get what I mean, which you will. Nyahahahahahaha!

sick.

Today sucks. Why?

I'm sick. Went to the doctor just now and doc said

I'm down with Gastric Flu.

You wouldn't wana be down with this shiet. Seriously.

Well at least I have 2 days MC. That's a good thing right? Haha. My wish to skip school is granted. Haha.

Wow. 2 Days of lessons gone. I have a long holiday. I have MC for today and tomorrow. Then it will continue until the weekends. Rocks la.

Anyway, I feel soo sick. I can barely eat anything. Not even drink plain water. Really, it sucks. Been vomitting like forever. My stomach is painful due to the pressure it had to face when I vomit. ARgh. Sucks.

So, my Hari Raya is nothing great. Noone is visiting my place because yesterday, nenek went to KK for a checkup and today Mama is sick, suffering from the same thing like I am. It's a viral infection. Exactly yesterday night, me and Mama suffered the same thing. Sleepless nights, stomach cramps, bad headaches and aching bodies, countless vomits and long time spending on the toilet bowl.

I didn't know gastric flu could be this bad.

I guess know I do. Haha.

Just hope I get well soon la. I hate the state I'm in now.

Hari raya

Selamat Hari Raya!!!!!

Haha. Yerps. Yesterday was the day where we Muslims welcome the start of Syawal with an array of colours ranging from white to blue, green to pink of colourful clothes and the spirit of Hari Raya is in everyone's hearts, young and old.

This is the time where each of us get to meet our relatives whom we see like once a year and catch up on old times, telling stories about the ongoings that are happening around each of us.

Though tiring, warm and shacked, the spirit never died down 'til the very last house that me and my family visited. We sure spent one whole day visiting families of relatives yesterday and when we reached home, it was 12 midnight. I was really damn tired and I needed a good rest since I had school today which was just now.

Oh damn, I was really really tired just now that all I cared about was to sleep. Really.

I feel a headeache coming on. Maybe that could be a reason for me to skip school tomorrow. *evil laughs..!*

And, tomorrow is the start of school. *boring!!!!!!*

Oh darns. Only when I thought the holidays are just starting. MAJOR TURN-OFF!!!

Ok, so can we skip Monday and straight away jump to Tuesday. Pretty please?!?!

Haha. So I am ready for RAYA!!! The kuih, house, baju and decoration are all up and ready. I'm so really the excited. Really. I just soo can't wait for Tuesday.

Oh and I got news that my parents are thinking of getting a small little boy from one of the Tsunami families to celebrate Raya with us. Isn't that cool?! I so can't wait to invite a lil' bro la. Rocks ok. My nenek has been asking my parents to get one, a lil' boy and I have been longing for a lil' brother in the house. Really. My life in this 5 room HDB flat has been revolving around girls and woman. Haha.

So I'm excited about that part.

2 more days until School starts. *turn-off, i know!*

The raya preperations are killing me! Really. Like now, I just finished helping mama bake kuih makmur. I was the one who did the "sepet-ing". Tiring I tell you. Lucky for me, I didn't have to make it look so nice because eventually, sugar will be sprinkled on it, covering the "leaf-decor look".

Ok, yesterday I had my dental appointment at Align Dental. The dentist said that I would have to undergo an operation to pull out the missing teeth that is up in my gums and also I haf to pull out 2 other teeth from my lower jaw, because it seems that my lower jaw is longer than the upper jaw, so when I bite, I haf gaps and the dentist always wonder how I manage to chew my food. Haha. I wonder too.

So anyhows, I found a new love.

I love my timetable. I swear that this sem's timetable is much much less packed then the previous Sem. Nyahahahahaha!! *evil laughs.*

raya preps

Sorry for the long absence. Actually, it's only been 2 days. Haha.

Anyways, I have to update my countdown..

So, Muslims everywhere busy with Hari Raya preparations. I know I've been busy. I have been going to Geylang for the past 2 days straight, never failed to bring home stuff from there. The crowd is definitely building up over there. I mean, it is a tradition right for Muslims to head down to Geylang for their Hari Raya shopping. I don't know about the bazaar over at Kg. Glam, but what I read from the newspaper, crowds have been turning up to go shop there for the past few days. I guess that's a huge relief for the vendors there.

Anyways, yesterday went to Geylang again, with family. Family bought carpet, a frame, a few table cloths *is it called table cloths? or is table mat? i duno but wadeva it is, i knoe in malay its called alas meja. nyahahahaha!* So, I decided to get burger Ramly, and I tell you, the burgers from the stall mama bought them from, its wonderfully delicious! Really la. The chilli sauce, the bbq sauce, the mayonnaise, *slurps* they give it in generous amounts. With every bite of the burger, drips of sauce will juice out from in between the egg and the beef patty. Yum!

Ok, that just made me felt like I needed another burger Ramly. Haha!

So later today I will have a briefing in School which actually I wasn't aware about until a friend of mine mentioned about it. I was worried so I decided to go find information about this breifing. I checked my TP email but there was nothing. So I thought maybe it was only for certain courses. Then only just now, one of my classmate, Nurul asked me whether I knew about the briefing, and I said no. Haha. I asked her where she got the information from. She then mentioned from the OLE website. OMG! I totally forgot about the OLE website. I totally forgot about it that I actually forget what the URL was. Haha. How pathetic can I get! Well, that goes to show how unprepared I am for school. Haha.

Ok, so I still have 2nd thoughts about attending school on Monday. Goodness, it is a day before Raya!

cookies!

Yesterday, was a weekend. So, it's time for the Raya Preparations!

I woke up and mama starts to nag at me to get started on baking the cookies. Mama has bought the ingredients but she left out some la so she went down to the supermarket to get it, accompanied by Ella. Oh, and my sis got her hair straightened *i noe, like wad da hell larh kans.* So anyways, I don't bother to comment anything.

So I started to get down to business. I measured the required amounts to bake the cookies and I'm not really somone who can do a good clean job on something, especially around the kitchen. No matter how hard I try to keep the place tidy, it will only end up being a crazy mess e.g, I spilled a bit of sugar and the self-raising flour just wouldn't remain in the packet. Haha.

It was quite a tiring job la but someone's gotta do it.Nonetheless, the sight of those cookies, argh, really test my patience during this fasting month.

So, finally got the cookies done and all.

Then at night went to Tampines Central with Mama. I bought 2 pair of jeans and a floral long sleeve top. Thanks Mama! Then went to Metro and Mama bought 2 sets of bed sheets with comforter and a bed sheet set for me. Thanks again Mama!

So, went home and had supper in the living room with Mama, Papa, Adik and Ella.

I seriously can't wait for Hari Raya.

So its been a few days since I updated. What can I say, busy with raya preparations.

7 more days to School *dangs!*

Ok, time been travelling so fast. I have alot of dates to catch up. Haha.

On Friday the 13th, me and alot of the IRC people break-ed fast outside. There were 2 different groups and we breaked fast at different places. My group broke our fast at Ali Cafe at Malay Village. The service ain't that good because, half an hour after the azan sounded, most of the food still haven't arrived at the table yet. So much for reserved seats and advanced orders.

Ok so ya, then after I broke fast, I dispersed from the group to meet B. He was from work, and he had to continue his work again because one company sent in a complain, last minute. I was pissed, but B seemed cool about it eventhough he was really farkin tired. So, me and B walked around geylang.

You know something, the fasting month is the time where all Muslims would just come down to Geylang and this is the time where you would bump into peopls whom you haven't meet for so long. For instance, I bumped into my kakak and her hubby and daughter. I was so happy to see her and she was so happy to see me. Haha. We exchanged kisses and hugs and I miss her la. So, me and B walked around Geylang. The atmosphere was really very hot la. So anyways, B had to go off by 8.45pm so I accompanied him to the bus stop and see him off. He said he was sorry for not being able to teman me. It's ok la B.

So anyways, after seeing him off, I rejoined the group. Then I meet up with people whom I haven't meet before. I mean IRC is actually a great way to meet new friends from all different walks of life, young and old and you don't always meet one, but always a group of friends. Haha.

So that was Friday. My first day breaking fast outside, with a bunch of crazy friends and with somone you love.

Yesterday was nothing, really. Me and fam went Bugis because nenek wanted to get a pair of shoes for Raya. So went there, bought the shoes and headed home. The earlier part of the day, mama was busy keeping the house in great shape for Raya. The new curtains are up, *I'll upload the pics soon.*, the living room furniture has been shifted around, the carpets are laid.

So, it's now down to the kuih-muih. Tomorrow I'm going to start baking my chocolate chip cookies! Yay-ness.

Oh, and I don't know whether mama would allow me to break fast outside with Wani. Wani wants so much as to blanje me. Haha. I love yew fer that la Wani!

Lastly, bad news!

The haze is BACK!!!!!!

It reached 104 at 7 pm. It got worse by the hour until about 10pm where the PSI : 116. That was the highes PSI reading for the day.

shacked & project runway

Today, I met with cousin, Ella and we went to Bugis 'coz i wanted to get a pair of black tights to wear with my overalls and I wanted to get another pair of shades.

Met Ella at Simei MRT at about 2+. We headed to Bugis and searched for my tights. Got it for $10.

Then went to search for my shades, and unfortunately the shop that I headed to wasn't open. Darns. And Seriously, me and Ella was shacked after walking around Bugis.

So, headed to Tampines. We headed to M:Industries at Century Square. She wanted to buy a pair of pants from there but dang, the pants was no more. *Seriously, today isn't our day.* So, we went to Zoom II and I bought my pair of shades for $16. Ok la, worth the money. AhaKz.

Then we went to Isetan where Ella looked for a pair of pants there. She got it for $19.90. So Ella decided to look for a pair of shades for herself, we headed to the interchange to get a pair of shades. She got hers for $12.

So today me and Ella didn't really do any serious shopping. I was running out of cash *haha* and both of us were really shacked since we were fasting and the weather wasn't at all pleasing.

So today's episode of Project Runway was hot. The designers had to design an outfit with the inspiration of a cute lil' puppy!! The puppies are superbly cute and adorable!!! Hehe. Designers have to design an outfit which tells a story of the owner of the puppy according to what type of puppy is owned. So, the designers got down to work.

Bradley had big troubles. He had his design set but when he got the fabrics, he realised that it would be troublesome to actually sew the lines and all that for his original design. In the end, he scrapped his original design 100% and started everything from scratch. He was running out of time and still, he has not started any work on his outfit. He surely did not want to get eliminated on his birthday. When his model came, he rushed for time to get everything done.

Keith is becoming an egoistic shithead as mentioned by Laura. Seriously, Keith's attitude sucks. He is like Jade of America's Next Top Model. Haha. He thinks that he is the best and when he didn't win the challenge, he was saying that it wasn't suppose to be! God's sake! You didn't even design a single thing for the puppy! Still have the cheek to say that it wasn't right that you didn't win the challenge.

So, it was time for the runway show and even if Bradley's piece was last minute, the judges did not mention anything about it being last minute. His story and the outfit was well aligned. It was definitely simplicity at it's best.

The judges announced the results and Uli Herzner won the challenge. She deserved it because her outfit was stunning. She played around with 2 different patterns and material, making it unique. Bradley fortunately wasn't eliminated, and Keith unfortunately wasn't eliminated.

Finally, it was down to the two final designers, Katherine Gerdes and Angela Keslar. Eventhough Angela's outfit had alot going on and her style is totally out, the judges had to say that Katherine was out because her outfit was too simple and her story wasn't inspired but what she created.

Well, I think that the results aren't that reasonable because I thought that Katherine would be out since the judges thought that Katherine's outfit was way too over. Haha. Everything is unexpected when you are watching TV-reality series.

happy 42nd mama

As of 10/10/2006, mama is now officially 42 yrs old!!!!

Happy 42nd Birthday Dearest Mama!!!!

So to celebrate, the family break-fast at Sakunthala's Food Palace. And I have to tell you, the food there is really great. If you really dig Indian food and spices, this is the place for you.

So nenek, mama and cik ajib was from KKH coz nenek had an appointment at the hospital and at the same time, nenek tak berapa sihat la in a sense.

So me, papa and adik went to fetch cik yam from her workplace, and we head to meet nenek, mama and cik ajib who already reached the place.

It was buffet so we took our food and waited for the azan to start, which will mark the time to break our fast.

6.55pm then arrived and we dig in to the food laid out infront of us. I tell you, if you love spicy food, this is the place to be. The food is really nice, "not bad".

So after breaking our fast, cik yam and cik ajib heads home since cik yam has some work to do. Me and fam went to geylang to get me and mama's baju from Sultanah, get papa's baju kurung, and also get adik another pair of baju since the one that is bought previously didn't really match the colour of the baju that me, mama and papa bought. But being her, she is very fussy. So it's kinda hard to get her a suitable baju without her making a fuss over it.

While at geylang, fam shopped for a frame with an ayat so called engraved la to hang in the living rm. So we came to this shape and I swear that the frame was really nice. There is really some rich green pattern and it's a mirror. Not some basic frame. So I can always see my reflection in the living room. *don't tell me I'm becoming a vain pot!* So, ya, had fun actually at geylang. Papa bought 3 carpet for alas kaki for $20. He actually auctioned for it but with not many people around, it wasn't actually auctioned la. Haha!

Then we headed home and papa bought mama a gold necklace with matching bracelet. Before me and papa went out of the house, papa actually tried on the necklace and bracelet and I swear it was super burok on him! I was laughing la. He look like some male "mami jarum"!

So mama was happy with the gift. And that was the small celebration I had for my dearest mama. Hope the year ahead would be a happy and cheerful one with us around.

America's Next Top Model

I was watching America's Next Top Model just now. This episode, the models are trained on movement. They were required taught on how to do 'aswirl'. Furonda did her swirl like a dance move and that was wrong according to the 'aswirl' twins. Joanie almost tripped on hers. Seriously, everyone was very stiff on their movements. LoL!

So after being taught on the 'aswirl', the girls are brought to a church where they will have to perform a Church Runway Show. The winner of this challenge will receive a diamond ring worth $25,000!!! *gasps!*

So the girls did their thang and Sara seemed stiffed and uncomfortable. Nnenna was hot! Leslie seemed like there was something wrong with her posture. Jade just made the show her own.

After the show was over, the judges for that runway show announced that Jade has won the challenge so she wins the diamond ring worth $25,000!!!!! Then there was also another surprise. Jade gets to choose someone else from the remaining girls who would receive another diamond ring worth $10,000 and Jade chose Furonda. Next, Furonda then gets to choose someone else who would receive another diamond ring worth $8,000 and Furonda chose Nnenna. And I tell you, the rings, are the object of envy for every girl....every girl!

So done with the runway show, the girls now have to show off their booties and shake their thang in a photo shoot which involves a new hot dance style "krumps". *I just love that word!* So the girls have to do a photo shoot which will advertise some shoes. Brooke seemed nervous about it. Haha!

After the shoot was over, it was finally down to the judging room.

And finally....

Leslie is out.

I was surprised at the results. I mean I simply love looking at Leslie in the photos. She is be-au-ti-ful!! Look at that!!---->

The judges say that she looks gorgeous in her photos but doesn't really favour her naturally in person. They also do not really appeal to her walk.

Well, I find that Leslie is gorgeous in photos and in person.

With a face like that, I'm sure she can be a top model anywhere.

Ok, my personal favourite on the show is Danielle. Why? She might not have the 100% gorgeous beautiful model face but she is all natural!!! I love her. She has a great sense of humour and she has never gotten herself in any of the conflicts that some of the girls have. She is all her.

Gosh, and I thought that yesterday was worst.

geylang n smoking

ok. yesterday had dikir prac n stuff. i lurve fridays coz its da day i get out of da house n meet my fellow frens. yes yes yes!

haha! Soo dikir prac was ubber fun. we had our larfs larh. N da song, haha! mamat suker lagu nasyid! tak abis2 dgn "Berlalu sudah Ramadhan...~~"

haha. We were soo bored of dat song, eventually we decided to change da song to dis catchy tune by P. Ramlee. PST used dis song before for their performance, but now Nira is using it. kewl larh kanz.

*Pardam pardam* ok dis part is ubber funny. haha! mamat insists dat he said it *Param param* but wif his pronounciation..it sounded like *Pardam pardam* n Fid was making a huge joke out of it. Lepaks la siak. haha!!!

Dikir prac simplay rawks my socks ok. Soo after dikir, me n Wani went to Tamp interchange for a while. Windowshop-ed for clothes. I soo need to get some shopping done coz I'm running out of clothes. Seriously.

So, head home. I took 291 home and sat all the way in the back seat of the bus. There was this primary school boy whom apparently I guess he is a mix indian n malay but stronger to the malay side. Then there was this businessman sat in the middle of us. A conversation started among the primary school kid n the businessman.

Pri school kid:Excuse me, what's the time now?
Businessman:It's 6.45pm
Pri school kid:Oh ok. Thank you.

Apparently, I had a glance at the boy and if I'm not mistaken, he was holding a ciggarette bud in his hand. Why I thought he was holding a ciggarette? Because I saw an orangey n white colour "thing" in his hand. Anyway the conversation goes on.

Businessman: Boy, you smoke is it?
Pri school kid nodded. How I know? I kept on listening to the conversation.
Businessman: How old are you?
Pri school kid: Primary 4
Businessman: Wah. So young smoking ah.

Ok. So the kid juz kept quiet and the conversation ended. Yes I know I m a kpo but I couldn't help it. I wasn't listening to my mp3 so my ears were wide open. I was kinda surprised that a primary 4 boy could actually start smoking. I guess I don't have to be coz it's actually happening everywhere without me realising.

Pity the boy. Wonder what actually caused him to start smoking. Whatever it is, just hope he stops coz take it from me, you wouldn't like it if one day you find out that you have this minor "thing" going thru ur body and it is all because of that one pathetic stick which you call a ciggarette.

Anyways, after breaking fast, me and family went to geylang. And I swear, the haze is getting worse by the day. The atmosphere is all so hazey causing my eye to hurt like hell, and my throat feels all soo husky like a furball forming. Really la. If you are aware, you looked out the window yester-night, notice that the sky is all so smokey and everything seems unclear in the distance. I swear that I'm gona suffer from bad dry coughs due to the haze. Seriously. Anyhoos, went to geylang. Looked around the shops for my sister's baju raya. Got it.

Then head home. Reached home at about 11+. Seriously, if you are ever planning on going to Geylang, go on a weekday! Never go on a wkend. Been there, done that.

haha! Im becoming bored as hell dat i m actually reading my past entries. Wad a life!

Reading them just makes me laugh my heads off! LOL! Sometimes I read them and can't believe that all of it is just down to memories. Most incidents, especially the pleasant sweet ones, I want them to happen all over again. The laughters, the joy, the fun. Its ubber cool.

I've been reading like entries that I wrote when I first started the hobby of blogging. I would just smile at how young, naive and silly I was on handling different situations. Not forgetting that I was also being very mushy when I haf those puppy love and also being very kental. *kental siaks akoo..like seriously!* Being soo dramatic, soo emotional about the slightest of problems. Haha. Those were the days.

It's really funny reading about incidents which you barely remember happening.

Sometimes, it's always good to record down the happenings in your life. It actually shows how much we grown through the years and also let us have a good laugh at how we react to things.

serious seyy....i mean..pity the vendors there. n to think dat bazaars wld make alot of money. even the pasar malams have more crowds. but i mean..come on...nothing can beat the spirit they have in Geylang. even wif da construction going on....crowds still head to Geylang coz the semangat there is really lar...cannot describe. even i myself semangat RAYA oredy...!

ok soo, i bought my raya shoes oredy. and soo em done wif my Raya Shopping!!! juz down to the small accessories. i mean...girls juz cant get enough of anything...and i mean ANYTHING! soo ya....den mama bought dis air batu. n i tell u...wonderfully freezing cold splendidly delicious la!!! haha....serious seyy!

den i bought dendeng AGAIN! rockz to the max-est larh kanz. haha...! i tink i haf a fetish for dendengs. really.. i cant get enuf of it! haha!

Sunday met wif my darling darling Zali!!!! i miss him n lurve sooo da very much larh kanz. haha.... crazy freak!
